I’ve been thinking a lot recently about exceptional people. What makes them exceptional? Why do they stand out?
Life always happens! Whether we like it or not, life happens. Our response to life can either be proactive or reactive.
The ability to be proactive is what sets exceptional people apart.
The world just lost an exceptional woman, Winnie Mandela. She could have chosen self pity over bravery and lending her voice. She could have chosen the least resistant path when life threw its curve balls at her home and family, instead she faced the challenge headlong, strengthened her voice and strengthened her arms. Exceptional isn’t it?
The question is “what are you doing with the curve balls life is throwing at you?” are you storing them up to create a monumental pile of self pity or are you recycling them into valuable, timeless products?
There is a saying “stand for something or fall for anything”. Dear exceptional man or woman, what are you standing for today?
